Where there is love there is life: Our 6th anniversary

It was a very simple celebration this year for the both of us. It's a last minute plan to spend our 6th anniversary over at Batam. Impromptu, I asked my hubby if he is interested with this groupon deal He agreed so i proceed to purchase 2 groupons on 22nd March for the both of us! haha! Actually it's my 2nd time buying travel vouchers from Groupon, i guess GROUPON is more trustsworthy but hor alot of hiccups along the way lah.

I proceed to send an email to http://exclusivetours.com.sg/, which is the agent for Harris Hotel Batam Centre. There're 2 options whereby you may choose to go down to the agency with your printed groupon vouchers or book through email. For me, i felt that email was the easier way out to save time. Anyway, the process took abit long from 24 March till 3 days before our planned date, then we got the email confirmation. I hoped the staff don't hate me as i've made alot of phone calls to follow up and in a way also quite pissed me off. Those who ever gotta book through this agency, do email and then follow up with calls as they are quite understaffed.

                                                    Alright enough of my "introduction".
     We start the day with collection of our boarding pass at Sindo Travel @ Harbourfront Centre.

8th Stop- The Indonesia Miniature Park

The weather is simply too hot so everyone just walked like awhile and board the bus. Our next stop ithe free massage at one of the hotel, it's actually 1 hour of massage, but the tour guide managed to convince most of us to top up. Both of us opted for the Extra 30mins for $10 which we thought it was not exactly worthwhile. Some opted for additional hour of exfoliation at $30. Totally not worth it, but we just simply follow the majority so we do not have to wait for one another too long. And for those who did not go for the free massage, the tour guide sent them to BCS Chinatown where they are able to have some food, shopping and resting over there. The massage didnt made me feel asleep at all, but i can hear Hubby snoring beside me haha with the massage going on. 1.5 hours passed, we got dressed up and tipped the masseure. Before we left, we were served with a small cup of light ginger tea. :) I thought it was quite a warm & sweet gesture.

And it happened to be Easter the following day. I'm surprised to see an easter egg there!

We were greeted by the most friendly greeter and a cold towel with a glass of beverage.

The staff there were all so friendly and full of smiles. You don't feel as if the day is going to end!

We do our usual check in and went up to our room on the 9th floor, the highest haha! Cool!

If you're interested, you may call for room service for Massage as well to save your time from travelling! And also their in house catalogue with services like laundry etc.

There is a gym located just beside the swimming pool with a gym trainer as well to guide u on proper usage with the equipment

After his swim, feeling hungry and there we picked A&W keke.. No choice SG don't have and seee our tired faces...oh ya we went Mega Mall which is just 5 mins walk away from the hotel, super near!

After our dinner, we just walked around for our fatty food to digest and head over to the supermarket! Not much pictures taken! Anyway their alcoholic drinks is much much cheaper!

Our night just end with last stop of the day at Mega Mall! *Yawn*

And he gave me a surprise! I felt quite guilty buying him something from Adidas only! HoHo
